An investigation has been launched in Montgomery County after an 18-year-old from Silver Spring was shot to death in an area playground, authorities say. Christian Ortiz has been identified by police as the person who was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound near Seek Lane Park earlier this week, investigators announced on Thursday.
