Motorbike Rider Struck By Speeding Driver In Maryland Remembered For Faith, Love Of Motors
The 19-year-old man who has been fighting for his life at a Maryland hospital after a motorbike crash has died, officials say. Matthew Araigeo Noah Vandergriff was pronounced dead in Baltimore days after he was involved in a crash with a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro in Dundalk. At around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, officers were called to a reported crash on German Hill Road near Merritt Boulevard where Vandergriff was riding eastbound when he was struck by a westbound Camaro turning into a shopping center in the area. One person was hospitalized in Maryland overnight in Carroll County when a fast-moving fire broke out in a Sykesville garage. First responders were called at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, to the 6100 block of Frontier Road, when a resident reported a fire that had broken out in an attached garage and spread to an attic. Two Airlifted To Maryland Hospitals After Boat Engine Explodes: Fire Marshal
What started as a “wonderful day” for a family of six turned into a nightmare when the engine of their boat exploded in Maryland, leaving at least two members with extensive burns and injuries. One woman and a child were both airlifted to Maryland hospitals over the weekend when their boat went up in flames in the Eastern Bay off Romancoke Pier in Queen Anne's County when an engine malfunctioned, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
