Charges Pending After Marijuana Fire Burns Through FSU Dorm Hall
Charges are pending against a suspect who set a trash can on fire in a Frostburg State University dormitory room after trying to throw out a marijuana cigarette, authorities say. At least 50-60 students needed to be evacuated after the trash can caught fire inside of Annapolis Hall on Sandspring Drive around 3 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, according to the State Fire Marshall. The fire was reportedly extinguished before firefighters arrived to investigate the scene, which was discovered by a student. The student involved has yet to be identified. Cold Case: Who Killed Former Frostburg State University Basketball Player?
The mysterious murder of a former Frostburg State University basketball player in 2020 has Baltimore County detectives asking for the public's help, according to CBS Baltimore. On June 16, 2020, Brian Green Jr., was shot to death while driving out of his garage on Caerleon Court in Pikesville, Baltimore County Police said. A silver Lexus or Infiniti sedan was seen leaving the area after the shooting with several people inside. Sorority & Fraternity Mourn Loss Of 27-Year-Old Brother Killed In Maryland Crash
A 27-year-old Silver Spring who died in a crash in Howard County, is being mourned by members of Greek life at a college in Maryland. On Jan. 13, Rony Sibrian was behind the wheel of a 2002 Toyota Avalon heading south on Route 29 when he left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned around 5:05 p.m. in Laurel, county police said. Sibrian was rushed to a nearby, where he was pronounced dead.
