The firefighter who was taken to the hospital with a leg injury while battling a Maryland blaze over the weekend has been released and is recovering at home, responders have announced. The fire broke out at a home on the 1200 block of Long Corner Road in Mt. Airy around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 17, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services said. Family Displaced After Blaze Breaks Out In Maryland Kitchen: Fire Marshal
A fast-moving kitchen fire in Maryland caused approximately $150,000 in damage before dozens of firefighters were able to knock down the flames and get the blaze under control. Shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20, in Cecil County, a fire was reported at a two-story, single-family home on Doctor Jack Road in Port Deposit, the Maryland office of the State Fire Marshal announced. 60 Displaced By Massive Lanham Fire
Nearly 60 people were displaced and three hospitalized in a fire that tore through an apartment complex in Lanham overnight, officials said. The blaze broke out just before 2 a.m. at the complex on the 6800 block of Riverdale Road. Crews found fire showing on the second floor. The fire extended to the roof and a third alarm was initiated.
