A teenager caught on camera firing a weapon toward a vehicle in St. Mary's County suffered a gunshot wound and is now facing charges, according to officials. Early on Saturday morning, deputies from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office were called to investigate a shooting in the 21800 block of Ronald Drive in Lexington Park, where they found 18-year old Dakarai Amon Mason suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport prevented an Alexandria man from bringing a loaded handgun onto his flight on Thursday morning. Officials say that officers at the airport were able to stop the passenger early on Thursday, March 9, when it was discovered he was in possession of a 9mm handgun that was loaded with 15 bullets. Shooting Suspect Apprehended In Virginia Minutes After Shots Fired Reported: Police
A Fredericksburg man who attempted to flee from police after firing gunshots in the downtown district is facing a host of charges after being apprehended within minutes by responding officers, police said. At approximately 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, the Fredericksburg Police E-911 Center received a report of a single gunshot fired in the 200 block of Charles Street, according to officials.
