Woman, Dog Escape Safely After Crashing Into Prince George's County Pond
A woman was able to safely escape and rescue her dog after crashing into a Prince George's County pond on Wednesday morning. Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7, members of the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department were called to the 3400 block of Enterprise Road in Bowie to investigate a reported crash that resulted in one vehicle submerged in the water. Investigators in Frederick County walked into a veritable dog graveyard over the weekend when they were called by neighbors to a Walkersville home for reports of dead and abused animals on the property. A Harford County homeowner was able to make a bold save of three dogs when a kitchen blaze broke out on Monday afternoon, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
