A District man will spend years behind bars for kidnapping and assaulting a minor last year, federal authorities announced.
Donte Johnson, 38, has been sentenced to five years in prison, and a judge ordered he register as a sexual offender for 10 years when he is released following an incident involving a 17-year-old outside the Deanwood Metro Center in Northeast DC.

Police have identified the suspect wanted for the murder of a young Jewish father killed while at work in D.C. earlier this month, authorities say.
Aryeh Wolf, 25, of Baltimore, was fatally shot in the 5100 block of Call Place, Southeast around 3:41 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, amid a string of antisemitic crimes, according to Metropolitan Police.
The suspect wanted for his murder was captured on security footage and has been identified as Avery Miller, 27.

Police have identified the victim and arrested the suspect in a D.C. homicide, officials said.
Sometime before 9 p.m. on June 19, 15-year-old Chase Poole shot four victims during an event that took place in the 2000 block of 14th Street, the Metropolitan Police Department reported.
The juvenile male victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

US Marshals Service Nabs DC Homicide Suspect Hiding In Jamaica
A D.C. man, who was wanted for a January homicide, was found and arrested in Jamaica, officials said.
At around 6:15 p.m. on January 31, police found a male victim, 27 year-old Tarek Boothe, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of M Street, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Authorities reported that Boothe was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injures.
