State Police ID 28-Year-Old Man Critically Injured In Maryland Shooting That Shut Down I-95 A stretch of I-95 in Maryland was shut down early Monday morning following a shooting that left a Laurel man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds, Maryland State Police confirmed. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Ronald Victor Garcia-Rodriguez, was found lying on the shoulder of northbound lanes of I-95 near Route 216 after calling 911 at around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 to report that he had been shot. Reginald Dunlap, 45, was found guilty on Monday, March 13, after the violent slaying of his wife, 40-year-old Lauren Charles, in March 2021, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. On Tuesday, Dec. 27 around 2:21 a.m., a man walked into the 7-Eleven in the 1300 block of University Boulevard dripping in blood from a gunshot wound to his leg, Takoma Park police say. The victim was able to be rushed to a hospital to be treated, and a trail of blood was located and followed to an apartment in the 7800 block of Kennewick Avenue.  Police say that the entrance door to the apartment revealed signs of forced entry. Police ID Driver Shot In I-95 Shooting Maryland State Police have identified the driver killed in an Interstate 95 shooting last month. Charles Harrison Marks, IV, 42, of Pasadena, was heading north near Route 100 in Elkridge when he was struck by gunfire through the driver's side window around 3:40 p.m. Jan. 30, police said. He was rushed to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center where he continues to receive treatment for injuries sustained during the incident.
