Traffic Slowed After Overturned Truck Spills Debris Into Busy Montgomery County Roadway
Some motorists were held up on Wednesday afternoon in Montgomery County when a dump truck overturned and spilled debris into a busy roadway. Fourth District units were called at around 2 p.m. on Oct. 9 to a stretch of Layhill Road near Norbeck Road, which led to delays for some travelers heading through the area in the area of Aspen Hill. Here's When New Maryland Area Code Will Arrive As 240 And 301 Phone Numbers Run Out
Officials in Maryland announced that the “227" area code will soon join the traditional “240” and “301" numbers, which are expected to run out sometime in the coming year. Once those numbers run out, all new businesses and residents will begin getting assigned the “227" area code. Anyone with a current "240" or “301” area code will not be impacted by the change. Missing 12-Year-Old Maryland Girl Found Safe
UPDATE: Jasslyn Santos has been found safe and unharmed ------- A 12-year-old girl from Aspen Hill has gone missing and police are asking for the public's help in finding her. Jasslyn Santos, was last seen on Jan. 20, at approximately 10 a.m., in the 13500 block of Turkey Branch Parkway. Santos is approximately 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has long black hair and hazel eyes. Police and family are concerned for her physical welfare.
