Firefighters doused a boat blaze at a marina in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday morning, April 2. The fire broke out on a boat that was tied to the end of a pier at a marina on the 7500 block of Brightwater Beach Rd. in Glen Burnie shortly before 11:15 a.m., the Anne Arundel Fire Department said. Firefighters began to douse the blaze while searching the vessel for possible occupants living aboard. A suspect was arrested following a pre-dawn armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Anne Arundel County on Easter Sunday, police said. Officers responded to the store at 1595 Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights around 1:35 a.m. According to investigators, a man entered the store, implied he had a weapon, and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled before he was tracked down by police a short time later. A man was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend by someone he had met with to make a sale, investigators in Anne Arundel County said. It happened near the 800 block of Aquahart Road in Glen Burnie around 5:40 p.m. on Friday, March 29.
