A Prince George’s County man was arrested for spree of airbag thefts, police announced.
Mateo Reyes, 22, of Adelphi, was arrested Friday, Feb. 23, Howard County Police said in a Thursday release.
Investigators believe Reyes “may be responsible for a significant number of additional thefts in Howard County in the last year,” they said, adding that no additional thefts have been reported since his arrest.

Man Dies Playing Soccer In Maryland, Loved Ones Say
Akindeji Agarah died doing what he loved.
Agarah, 29, was playing soccer on Sunday, Aug. 6 — a game in which he scored a goal — when he fell and started gasping for breath, according to a campaign launched by loved ones.
Attempts from his teammates, paramedics, and doctors to save him were futile.

Armed Robbers Antagonizing Taxi Drivers Nabbed In Prince George's: Police
A trio of robbers antagonizing taxi drivers in recent months have been arrested in Prince George's County, police said.
Omar Hernandez and Jose Linares-Hernandez, both 20, of Adelphi, along with a 15-year-old juvenile, robbed various independent taxi service drivers in Langley Park between Dec. 12, 2022, and Jan. 12, county police said.
Hernandez and Linares-Hernandez robbed five drivers while the teen robbed a driver at knifepoint on Jan. 12, authorities said. The teen's case is considered separate from the men, police said. The men were being held without bond.
