'Concerned' Police And Family Issue Alert For Maryland Teen Missing Since June
Police are pleading with the public to help find a teenage boy that disappeared from Bethesda last month, authorities say. Michael Turner, 18, was last seen leaving his home in the 9100 block of Vendome Drive on Wednesday, June 29, according to Montgomery County police. Turner is described as being 5-foot-10, weighing approximately 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and dark hair. Three teens are in custody following a rash of residential burglaries and the attempted murder of a police officer in Maryland, officials announced. Northwest Washington, DC residents Maynor Josue Bonilla-Flores, Jason Benitez-Umanzor, and Brad Roca, all 16, are facing charges in Montgomery County after being implicated in multiple reported burglaries and the shooting of a police officer in the area of Wisconsin Avenue and I-495 on Thursday, June 30. Surveillance video footage captured a robbery of a LensCrafters store in Bethesda and now police are looking for the suspects, officials say. Three men entered the store located in the 7100 block of Arlington Rd., after one of the suspects smashed through a glass door on Dec. 1, 2021, according to Montgomery County Police. The suspects removed merchandise from the shelves, placed them inside a plastic bag and fled the scene on foot.
