Sarah Hughes was last seen on Friday, Dec. 22 leaving Shady Grove Hospital in the 9900 block of Medical Center Drive in Rockville, according to officials.
A fervent search was launched by the Montgomery County Department of Police, though there was no update until Thursday, Dec. 28, when the agency announced that Hughes had been found dead.
No foul play is suspected, according to police.
No additional information was provided by the department.
