A motorcyclist was killed early on Sunday morning after crashing into an animal in Prince George's County, police say. At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 27, officers were called to the 3400 block of Ritchie Marlboro Road in Upper Marlboro, where there was a reported crash. According to the Prince George's County Police Department the rider was traveling along the roadway when he unexpectedly struck the animal. A 27-year-old man will spend years in jail for his role in an altercation that resulted in the death of an Anne Arundel County father who was defending his son last year. Glen Burnie resident Trevor Garrett Taylor was sentenced on Friday to three years in jail for manslaughter following the grisly attack of Christopher Wright outside his Brooklyn Park home that resulted in his death.
