Son Of DC Legend, 'Big G', Killed In Upper Marlboro Attack
The son of DMV legend Anwan "Big G" Glover, has been killed in Upper Marlboro, authorities say.
Kavon Glover, 29, was shot to death in the 12800 block of William Beanes Road shortly before 2:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, according to Prince George's County police.
Glover was pronounced dead on the scene.
Glover's father, Big G, is a founding member of the "BackYard Band" and is also known for his role as Slim Charles in the HBO series "The Wire".

Police ID Woman Fatally Shot Outside Maryland Housing Complex, Second Victim Still Critical
An Upper Marlboro woman has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting earlier this week, authorities say.
As previously reported by Daily Voice, Miranda Queen, 37, was shot multiple times in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive E around 10:15 p.m., Monday, Aug. 8, according to Prince George's police.
An unidentified man was also shot in the incident and is suffering from serious injuries in an area hospital.
Both were rushed to a hospital, police said, where Queen was pronounced dead a short time later.

Four from Maryland are facing mail theft charges after being busted in possession of USPS service keys, federal officials announced.
A federal grand jury in Maryland returned an indictment charging four suspects with theft of mail matter and the unlawful possession of postal service keys, according to the Department of Justice.
Those charged:
Eyalan Owona, 32, of Upper Marlboro;
Ibrahim Kourouma, 22, of Glenarden;
Ali Dickerson, 20, of Hyattsville;
Benjamin Washington, 22, of Owings Mills.

Alert Issued For Missing Upper Marlboro Man
Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Upper Marlboro man who hasn't been seen in nearly a week, authorities say.
Robert Griggs, 47, was last seen in the 9800 block of Royal Commerce Place around 11 a.m., Friday, July 15, according to Prince George's County Police.
Griggs is described as a black male, 5-foot-9 tall, and 190 pounds, investigators said. He was last seen wearing a cartoon shirt, black pants, and black tennis shoes.
