A beloved Maryland songwriter and music producer is being remembered as a devoted friend, mentor, and “big brother” after a high-speed motorcycle crash took his life on I-695. Jamahl Sutton, of Towson, was killed on Sunday, June 23, when police say he lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle while driving through traffic on the inner loop of the Baltimore Beltway. Murder, Not Overdose: Maryland Mom’s Death Was Blunt Force Trauma, Police Say
A Maryland mother who was first believed to have overdosed was actually murdered, Anne Arundel County Police confirmed Tuesday. Officers were called to the 1200 block of Lorene Court in Pasadena around 6:05 a.m. on Friday, April 4, for a report of a possible overdose, according to police on May 20. At the scene, officers found evidence of narcotics, but also signs of an assault, the department said. A popular restaurant chain specializing in noodle-based dishes could close more than 20 locations. Noodles & Company plans to shut down as many as 21 restaurants in 2025, the fast-casual chain said in its first-quarter financial report on Wednesday, May 7.
