Five people were shot - one fatally in Baltimore over the course of less than 90 minutes overnight as violence in the city continues to cause concerns in the community. The busy night for police began shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, when officers were called to the 1500 block of Medford Road to investigate a reported shooting in the area. Several people were rushed to the hospital after shots rang out overnight across Baltimore, authorities say. Around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, officers were dispatched to a home in the 3800 block of Cedarhurst Road to investigate a reported shooting, according to Baltimore police. A shooting victim has come clean, revealing to police that the gunshot wound to his leg was self-inflicted, authorities announce.
