Sewage Overflow At Mount St. Mary's University Prompts Public Health Alert The Frederick County Health Department is cautioning residents to avoid certain waterways after a sewage overflow on Mount St. Mary's University campus on the east side of Route 15. According to health officials, the public should avoid the waters from Saint Mary Run to Toms Creek to Monocacy River, and they've cautioned that swimming or full-body immersion in those areas should be avoided.
