A Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended after allegedly assaulting a Charles County Sheriff's deputy investigating a reported domestic disturbance, officials say. Officer Charles Williams, Jr., who has been with the department since 2015, was arrested early on Tuesday morning for assault. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, a deputy responded at around 1 a.m. on May 7 to Williams' home, and during the investigation, allegedly the officer allegedly struck him. The man who forced his way into the hotel room of an elderly woman in Montgomery County and sexually assaulted her has been sentenced to decades in prison, the state's attorney's office announced. Rockville resident Arash Khosh, 46, was convicted of rape and other grisly offenses following an incident in May 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in the 14000 block of Shady Grove Road when he accosted a 70-year-old woman in her room.
