Maryland Man Busted With Weapons, Drugs At Delaware Hotel: Police A Maryland man tried to pull a fast one over on police in Delaware following an incident at an area hotel, authorities announced. Elkton resident Ryan McCool, 41, was arrested by members of the Newark Police Department on gun and drug charges after being arrested while attempting to provide officers with a fake name. Officers were called to a hotel in the 1100 block of South College Avenue to conduct a welfare check of a person at the hotel.
