A woman was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint on Route 495 in Maryland early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, state police said. It happened on the outer loop in Prince George’s County around 2:30 a.m. The woman saw a dark passenger vehicle following her while she was driving on Route 1 near Ikea Way. The suspect vehicle then struck the woman’s vehicle as they entered the outer loop of Route 495 from Route 1, state police said. Motorcyclist Killed Hopping Curb, Crashing Into Pole In MD
Police in Howard County have identified the 23-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a weekend crash. Odenton resident Devinn Dwight Gleaton was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Jessup on Sunday, July 30, according to the Howard County Police Department. At approximately 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, Gleaton was riding a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Route 175 between Route 1 and Pocomoke Avenue when he lost control and went over a curb and into a pole. At least one person was rescued in Fallston as flood waters flowed through Harford County on Monday afternoon.
