Two women from DC with an eye for beauty products have been arrested and released after traveling into Maryland and pepper-spraying employees during a robbery. Amonie Lashawn Anderson, 23, and Diamond Markevia Shepard, 31, tried to get away, but were ultimately apprehended by officers from the Charles County Sheriff's Office following an investigation into a wild armed robbery. A Frederick man who pepper-sprayed a mother and her 8-year-old daughter during a brazen armed robbery is set to serve 17 years in prison, prosecutors announced. Nicholas Albanes, 42, was sentenced on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to 20 years, with all but 17 years suspended, in the Division of Corrections after pleading guilty to armed robbery last month. A man who burned a woman with a cigarette trying to get her child back from him after he snatched the child from a playground been arrested, authorities in Prince William County said.
