Caretaker Who Left Dementia Patient Bedridden Before Death In Maryland Sentenced: AG
An employee at a Maryland nursing home will spend years behind bars for her role in the death of a 75-year-old longterm healthcare patient who died after being knocked down, the Maryland AG announced. Obiageriaku Iheanacho, 36, of Batlimore, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, with all but seven suspended after she admitted to her role in the assault and death of Ellsworth Johnson-Bey, a dementia patient, last year.
