Darren Drozdov, a professional wrestler and former NFL player nicknamed "Puke" for vomiting on the ball, died on Friday, June 30. He was 54 years old. Darren, of Hamilton, NJ, grew up playing football as a quarterback in Mays Landing and was All-State in football at Oakcrest High School. Former Baltimore Ravens quarterback Ryan Mallett has died in an apparent drowning in Florida on Tuesday June 27, officials said. He was 35 years old. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Department identified Mallett as the victim who drowned in the Gulf of Mexico. Tampa Bay Buccaneer linebacker Shaquil Barrett, a Baltimore native, has suffered a greater hit than anything he ever experienced on the gridiron after his 2-year-old daughter drowned in the family’s swimming pool over the weekend. Officers from the Tampa Police Department responded to Barrett’s home in Tampa at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 30, where there were reports of a child who had fallen into a pool.
