Second Suspect ID’d In Pamela Conyers Cold Case Homicide In Maryland
Police have identified a second suspect in the murder of a Maryland 16-year-old that went cold over 50 years ago. Pamela Lynn Conyers was reported missing by her family in October 1970 in Anne Arundel before her vehicle was recovered three days later from a wooded area near Mountain Road and Route 100. A major Maryland roadway was shut down on Friday afternoon due to a reported gas leak. The Anne Arundel County Police Department issued an alert shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2 advising that Mountain Road at Meehling Road is completely closed due to the leak. Man Sentenced For Biting Police Officers While Clutching Drugs In Maryland
A Maryland man could spend up to two decades behind bars after being found guilty of more than a dozen charges related to the assault of two Anne Arundel County Police officers. Annapolis resident Brandon Hardy, 26, was sentenced to 15 years of active incarceration and is subject to an additional five years which were suspended for 13 charges including two counts of second-degree assault against officers Saifedlin Hussain and James Yee in September 2021. Man Convicted After Biting Police Officers While Clutching Drugs In Maryland: State's Attorney
A repeat offender was found guilty of all 13 charges including two counts of second-degree assault against an Anne Arundel County police officer, authorities say. Brandon Hardy, 26, of Annapolis, was arrested on Sept. 3, 2021, for biting officers while clutching drugs after causing a multi-vehicle crash in the area of Mountain Road and Route 10, according to Anne Arundel County police.
