Driver Tries To Ram Man Off Road In DMV, Police Say
She was waiting for him when he got home — and didn’t stop there, police say. A Virginia woman is facing serious charges after allegedly chasing down a man and forcing him off the road during a heated domestic confrontation in Prince William County. Clarissa Wilson, 37, of Midlothian, was arrested after the man said he pulled up to his home on Lions Field Road in Triangle shortly before 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, and found her waiting there. Noodles & Company Planning To Close About 20 Restaurants
A popular restaurant chain specializing in noodle-based dishes could close more than 20 locations. Noodles & Company plans to shut down as many as 21 restaurants in 2025, the fast-casual chain said in its first-quarter financial report on Wednesday, May 7. There are 13 to 17 company-owned restaurants expected to be shuttered, along with four franchised locations. The chain hasn't said which locations could close. These Party City Stores To Shut Down In Maryland, Virginia Amid Massive Closure
Dozens of Party City locations in the DMV region are among the hundreds set to be closed as the company announced it is going out of business. Both Maryland and Virginia were hit hard by the reported closure, which will impact approximately 800 stores across the country. Progress is rolling right along in Montgomery County as Wegmans prepares to open its ninth Maryland location next year. Applications are now being accepted for the new Rockville store, which is slated to open in late summer 2025 near Rockville Pike and Halpine Road in the Twinbrook Quarter neighborhood.
