An officer in Virginia was hospitalized after being bitten while trying to arrest a wanted man who turned violent inside a business, police said.
Officers were called shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 5, when Millyard Nega Marufe, 35, who was "a known wanted individual," walked into a business while under the influence, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Leysean Anthony Blair, 18, of Spotsylvania County, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 16, in connection with a shooting that left a 16-year-old boy wounded, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies first responded around 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, to the 10900 block of Taney Drive for reports of a shooting, the sheriff’s office said.

A Virginia man is behind bars after deputies say he tried to abduct a woman inside a public restroom before stabbing her and running from the scene.
The suspect, Austin Wayne Wilson, a man in his 20s, was identified on CCTV and arrested following the incident at a business on Plank Road around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.

Jamal Haskins, 24, of Woodbridge, and District resident Lakira Youngblood, 22, were both arrested on Wednesday, June 18, after a bizarre and violent altercation at the Sunoco station on Dumfries Road, Prince William County police said Friday.
