A late-night house fire with entrapment left three people dead, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Troopers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Pleasant Ridge Road in Bethel Township, in Fulton County, around 12:50 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, to assist emergency services with a reported house fire, according to the release.

The two people rescued from a burning Stewartstown Borough home Sunday morning died from gunshot wounds to the head before the blaze even started, new investigation details confirm.
Jennifer Troch, 41, and Michael Shores Jr., 54, both of the first block of North Main Street, were pronounced dead at WellSpan York Hospital on Sunday, Aug. 3—Shores Jr. at 7:12 a.m., Troch at 7:30 a.m., Coroner Pam Gay said in separate releases. Suspicious Vehicle Spotted Before Maryland House Fire, Officials Say
A suspicious vehicle was spotted leaving the area just before a house went up in flames late Saturday night in Cecil County, fire officials said.
The fire broke out at 10:42 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, inside a two-story single-family home on the 5800 block of Telegraph Road in Elkton, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal, released Monday.
The fire, which caused an estimated $1,000 in damage, was discovered by a neighbor, officials said.
The home did not have a smoke alarm, and no fire alarms or sprinklers were present, they noted. No injuries were reported.
