A car reported stolen out of New Jersey was at the center of a drag racing scandal in Maryland that landed one man behind bars. Capitol Heights resident Keith Andre Gorham, 25, pushed things to the limit and now faces more than a dozen charges after he was caught racing a Dodge Charger that had been taken from Highland Park, NJ, a spokesperson for the Frederick County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday. Maryland Couple Killed In NJ Crash
An elderly pair from Maryland was killed in a crash Tuesday evening, June 13 in Highland Park, authorities said. A Mercedes driven by Abeer Viriani, 34, of Iselin, struck a Subaru occupied by Peter Palmer, 75, of Easton, MD, and Carol Paul, 77, of Easton, MD, around 5:30 p.m. at Route 27 and North 10 Street, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
