A fugitive once featured on Texas’s Top 10 Most Wanted list for sexually assaulting a child has been captured in Maryland, authorities announced. Deputies with the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Tactical Response Unit arrested 34-year-old Brian C. Stevenson on Wednesday, Aug. 13, in the 1700 block of Independence Court in Severn. Stevenson was wanted out of Anderson County, Texas, for eight counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and bail jumping – failure to appear (felony), the sheriff’s office said. Fugitive Wanted For 1997 Maryland Shooting Captured In El Salvador After 27 Years On The Run
A fugitive who spent nearly three decades on the run after a 1997 shooting in Silver Spring has been captured in El Salvador and returned to Montgomery County to face charges. Jose Mauricio Rivera, 58, was extradited to Maryland on Thursday, Dec. 5, after being arrested by Salvadoran authorities in April 2023. NY Man Wanted In Maryland Captured In Pennsylvania, Police Say
A fugitive was captured in Pennsylvania early Wednesday morning. The unnamed man has a Rochester, NY address, a South Carolina driver's license, and was wanted on a warrant in Maryland, the Camp Hill police explained. An officer with the CHPD pulled the man over for a traffic violation at 12:48 a.m. on March 13.
