Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police didn’t have to go far to track down a murder suspect who turned himself in and directed investigators right to his dead wife. Dennis Morris Hinnant, Jr., 29, of Silver Spring walked into the Rockville City Police Station and requested to speak to a homicide detective at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1, officials said. The man accused of killing a MTA bus driver back in October 2022 has been found and arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, authorities say. Leon Hill was located by detectives in Atlanta on Thursday, Jan. 12, after being accused of killing 40-year-old Elaine Jackson on Oct. 18, 2022, according to Baltimore police. A Hyattsville man has been arrested after brutally stabbing and killing a Maryland teenager, authorities say. Rasheed Anwar, 65, is accused of fatally stabbing Therry Buhdeng, 19, on Wednesday, Nov. 16 around 11:45 a.m., in the 4600 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to Prince George’s County police.
