No serious injuries were reported after Florida resident Anthony Copozzi was able to safely put down his plane in St. Mary's County near an area farm in Clements. A helicopter crashed in a Maryland resident's yard over the weekend. The aircraft went down at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 9, in a yard on the 9100 block of Maytisde Street.
