Man Dies After Massive Late-Night River Rescue Near DC Yacht Club At Navy Yard (Developing) Floodlights bounced off the Anacostia River late Saturday night as divers searched the water near the District Yacht Club after a man disappeared along the Navy Yard waterfront. By the end of the rescue operation, the man had been pulled from the river in critical condition. He later died. DC Fire and EMS crews rushed to the 1300 block of Water Street SE shortly before 11 p.m. after reports of a person missing in the water near the boat club docks. Body Of Missing 36-Year-Old Swimmer Recovered From Beaver Dam Quarry In Maryland (Updated) The body of the man who went missing at the Beaver Dam Swimming Club in Baltimore County over the weekend has been located, according to officials.
