Maryland native Kilmar Abrego Garcia was arrested, taken into custody, and again faces deportation following a planned meeting with ICE on Monday.
Abrego Garcia, who was reunited with his family over the weekend, months after he was mistakenly deported to a Salvadoran detention facility, is again fighting for his right to stay in the country following his latest detention.

Virginia Congressman Gerry Connolly died at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, weeks after announcing his esophageal cancer had returned, his loved ones said.
The longtime Northern Virginia lawmaker — who served nearly four decades in public office — passed away peacefully at his Fairfax home on May 21, his family confirmed.

There was a special guest from Maryland at the White House press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.
Patty Morin, the mother of Rachel Morin, whose killer was convicted of rape and murder this week, took to the podium on April 16, to address the media.
