A September death investigation in a Bladensburg park has taken a grim turn after authorities ruled it a homicide, Prince George’s County Police said Monday. Ricardo Ramos Andrade, 55, of Colmar Manor, was found unresponsive on Sept. 25 at approximately 6:35 a.m. in a park on the 4600 block of Annapolis Road. Officers from Maryland-National Capital Park Police pronounced him dead at the scene. The man who brutally abused an infant who later died in Frederick County will never see the light of day again after being convicted of child abuse last year, the state's attorney's office announced. Jesse Cook, 45, was convicted by a jury in September 2023 on multiple offenses after the Frederick native was found complicit in the death of a child in 2020 who was found with grave injuries. A 23-year-old Whitehall Maryland man died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash involving a septic truck in Hopewell Township, Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon, authorities say. Child Killed In Homicide Under Investigation In Maryland, Police Say
A 5-year-old child has been killed by blunt force trauma in Capitol Heights, authorities say. Pradeline Delinois was found unresponsive in the 5100 block of Cumberland Street on Aug. 18, according to Prince George's County police. Delinois was rushed to a hospital in Washington DC, where she was pronounced dead a short time later, officials said. A 6-month-old baby was beaten to death last March in Baltimore, authorities announced Monday, June 12. Police responding to reports of an unresponsive baby on the 1800 block of West Lombard Street found 6-month-old Legacy Bell unresponsive around 11:40 a.m. March 1, city police said.
