A house exploded and was leveled overnight in a quiet Rosedale neighborhood, prompting a major emergency response and investigation, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. Fire crews responded shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, to the 8100 block of Callo Lane, where they found the home completely destroyed and fire suppression in progress, officials said. A 62-year-old man was killed when flames tore through his Pasadena home overnight, marking the third fire-related death in Anne Arundel County this year, fire officials confirmed.
