Dozens of arrests have been made in an effort to dismantle transnational criminal organizations responsible for drug trafficking throughout Maryland, authorities say. A protest demonstration that stopped traffic on a Washington D.C. street resulted in the arrest of 35 people, including 17 Members of Congress, authorities say.
