Man Charged With Murder After Second Stabbing Victim Dies In Maryland: Police
A man is facing multiple charges - including murder - after being connected to multiple stabbings in Montgomery County, police said.
Scorpio Alexander Standfield, 31, was arrested by members of the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division for two alleged stabbings, including one that was fatal, on Saturday, Sept. 3 on Hungerford Drive in Rockville, according to authorities.
At approximately 9:55 p.m., Rockville City Police, Montgomery County Police, and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 700 block of Hungerford for a reported stabbing.

Suspect Apprehended After Shooting Near Fairfax County Bus Stop: Police
A 52-year-old man from Alexandria was arrested for shooting a victim on Thursday, August 18 at a bus stop, Fairfax officials said.
At around 1:53 p.m., the 33-year-old victim got into an argument with the suspect, Paul Malone in Huntington, according to the Fairfax Police Department.
Malone shot the victim multiple times in their upper body, before fleeing the scene, authorities reported.
Witnesses and police investigation revealed there was a handgun near the scene, and that Malone was located at a nearby hotel, where he was later arrested, police said.

US Marshals Service Nabs DC Homicide Suspect Hiding In Jamaica
A D.C. man, who was wanted for a January homicide, was found and arrested in Jamaica, officials said.
At around 6:15 p.m. on January 31, police found a male victim, 27 year-old Tarek Boothe, suffering from a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of M Street, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Authorities reported that Boothe was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injures.

Maryland Man Shot By Wife Over Child Molestation Allegations Facing Charges
An arrest warrant has been issued for the Maryland man shot by his wife in a Washington, DC hotel room on allegations he sexually abused at least three children at her daycare facility, authorities said.
James Weems Jr., 57, of Randallstown, was shot by his wife, Shanteari Weems, after she confronted him over the alleged abuse in a room at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Monday, July 25, according to multiple reports.
