Late last month, deputies from the Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office and Virginia Animal Fighting Task Force executed a search warrant in the 6900 block of Old Courthouse Road, where they made several grisly discoveries. According to investigators, a search of the property led to the seizure of:  80 juvenile or undetermined-sex chicks; 26 hens; 21 roosters; A Great Pyrenees dog.
