Police Identify Suspect, Victim Gunned Down During Altercation In Maryland Home Police investigators in Montgomery County have identified both the victim and suspect in a fatal shooting that left a Sykesville man dead in Kensington. Benjamin Jack Dresbach, 21, of Kensington, has been charged with second-degree murder following the death of 29-year-old Trevor Dean Van Devander, authorities announced on Tuesday. Hurt Hiker Hoisted To Helicopter, Airlifted To Hospital In Maryland: State Police (Video) A Maryland State Police helicopter was required to rescue a hiker who was injured after slipping and falling from the top of a cliff onto the top of a train tunnel in Carroll County. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon, first responders were called to the area of Gaither Road and Railroad Avenue in Sykesville, where there was an injured hiker who fell approximately 20 feet down an embankment while walking in a wooded area.
