Ex-NY Rep. Charles Rangel, Who Spent 4 Decades In Congress, Dies
Former Congressman Charles "Charlie" Rangel, who represented five districts in New York City over 46 years, has died.
He was 94. A cause of death was not given.
A founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rangel, a native of Harlem who went on to serve that section of upper Manhattan in the House of Representatives, was the first African American chair of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee.

Moore, 36, was shot just after 10 p.m. by Davon Dabbs, 20, of Taneytown, after his fiance had showed up with a handgun in an effort to protect him, the county sheriff's office said.
Posts shared to Facebook say Moore served in the US Army, having been deployed for more than a year to Egypt.
In a Facebook post, Dominic Mancuso said he served alongside Moore in Egypt, adding that "he was such a good guy, beloved by those who knew him, and such a solid heart."
