FTC Fines Disney $10M For Collecting Kids' Data Improperly On YouTube: Here's How Disney has agreed to pay $10 million after the company was accused of allowing personal data from children under 13 to be collected through mislabeled YouTube videos. The Federal Trade Commission announced the settlement in a news release on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Federal regulators said Disney Worldwide Services, Inc. and Disney Entertainment Operations LLC failed to properly designate some of its kid-focused videos as "Made for Kids."
