Tornado Watch Issued For Maryland, Virginia As Severe Storms Loom
A tornado watch has been issued in parts of Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania as a storm is expected to roll through the area on Sunday. The National Weather Service issued alerts on March 16 as meteorologists prepare for another round of storms that could cause chaos in the DMV region. According to officials, a couple of tornadoes are possible, as well as hail the size of a quarter and winds approaching 70 mph in parts of the area.
