A Virginia neighborhood woke up to a chilling scene Thursday morning when police say a 76-year-old woman was found dead inside the home she shared with her longtime boyfriend, who is now charged with her murder. Officers were called around 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, to a residence in the 400 block of Linden Avenue in Edgewater for a report of an unresponsive woman, Anne Arundel County Police said. A homicide investigation is underway after human remains were discovered in an alley in Maryland, police said. Anne Arundel County Police say officers found the body of an unidentified woman with “apparent trauma” in the Brooklyn Park neighborhood on Friday, May 23. At around 9:05 a.m., officers were called to the area of Disney Road and Alley 79 for a report of a body on the ground. Once on scene, they discovered human remains and confirmed the victim was dead.
