Bike Riding Man Assaults School Staffer, Fights Deputies In Maryland: Sheriff A 58-year-old man is facing charges after deputies say he assaulted a staffer at a Catholic school, took off on a bike, then fought with deputies trying to arrest him in St. Mary’s County. Deputies with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office were called to Little Flower School in Great Mills around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, after a 911 caller said a man attacked a staff member and fled the scene.
