Man Sexually Assaulted Child In Maryland, Additional Victims Possible: Police
A Rockville man is behind bars without bond after being charged with sexually assaulting a child, and detectives fear there may be more victims, Montgomery County Police said. Wilmer Alvarado-Gomez, 37, allegedly assaulted the child on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the area of Parkland Drive in Rockville, according to police. He is also accused of sending sexually explicit photos to the victim. Modeling Scam Leads To Rape Charges Against FBI Agent In Maryland, Police Say
An FBI special agent from Gaithersburg has been arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault, including rape, after two women reported being attacked at a local tattoo studio he owns, Montgomery County police announced Tuesday. Eduardo Valdivia, 40, was taken into custody on Monday, Nov. 25. Known as "Lalo Brown," Valdivia owns DC Fine Line Tattoos on the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard, where the alleged assaults occurred. Coach Who Sexually Abused Minor For Years In Maryland Released On Bond, Police Say
A former coach in Montgomery County has been accused of sexually abusing a minor, and now investigators are worried there could be other victims. Gaithersburg resident Damon Junior Cruz, 32, has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse of a minor and displaying obscene material to a minor, according to police. Investigators say that the alleged assaults came between November 2021 and February 2024 when Cruz was the victim's hitting and pitching coach.
