A 43-year-old man on probation for a 2020 assault and ordered by a judge to abstain from alcohol is heading to prison after getting his fifth DUI in Frederick County, authorities announced. A suspect implicated in a 1994 sexual offense involving a young boy has been apprehended 30 years later in Frederick County, police say. The Frederick Police Department announced on Thursday that Donald Bernard Brooks, 66, has been identified and arrested in connection to sex offenses and child abuse charges decades later. A grown man who sexually abused a teenager will spend nearly a decade in prison, according to the Frederick County State's Attorney's Office.
