A man who stalked his prey and shot a longtime friend was convicted this week on attempted murder and other charges for a 2022 shooting in Harford County, the state's attorney's office announced. Kory Putney, 46, was found guilty following a three-day trial in Harford County Circuit Court of attempting to gun down his friend of 20 years, who was able to identify him after surviving the shooting. Dad Dies Defending Son In Grisly Attack Outside Maryland Home, Family Says
A 43-year-old Maryland dad died after family members say he was brutally attacked on his own front lawn. Christopher Wright had his head slammed on concrete repeatedly on the 300 Arundel Road West in Brooklyn on Friday, May 19, according to loved ones and Anne Arundel County police. Seen him? An alert has been issued by police in Cecil County as they attempt to locate a wanted man who has multiple warrants out for his arrest. Anthony Leroy Brown has six active warrants out for his arrest - five through the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, and one in Kent County - on multiple charges, according to officials.
