A Pennsylvania man got more than he bargained for when he stole a woman's car in Maryland and took off with an infant peacefully sleeping in the backseat, police say. Two Airlifted To Hospital After Crashing Into Tree In Maryland
Two people had to be airlifted to Maryland hospitals after a driver ping-ponged and crash landed into a tree in Mount Airy on Thursday afternoon. At around 1:15 p.m. on Jan. 4, first responders in Carroll County were called to the 500 block of East Ridgeville Boulevard, where there was a reported crash with people trapped inside a van off the side of the road. A Maryland woman is facing murder charges in Alabama after allegedly beating her victim to death during a home robbery, according to multiple reports. Mount Airy resident Diana Lynne Rogers, has been indicted for capital murder and other charges in connection to the death of a 58-year-old woman in Athens, Alabama in April. The Carroll County government will fly its flags at half-staff through the rest of the week to celebrate the life and honor the passing of lifelong Mount Airy resident and civil servant Oscar Baker.
