The harrowing tale of a 45-year-old man Frederick man who repeatedly abused an infant who later died has been convicted by a jury, Frederick County State's Attorney Charlie Smith announced. Jesse Cook, 45, was convicted by a jury on multiple offenses after the Frederick native was found complicit in the death of a child in 2020 who was found with grave injuries. July Death of 20-Year-Old Man Shot In Head Last Spring Officially Ruled As Homicide
The July death of a 20-year-old man who was shot in the head early this spring has been officially ruled a homicide, authorities say. Joshua George Camara was shot in the head in the 2600 block of Northshire Road around 2:18 p.m., Sunday, March 27, according to Baltimore police. Camara was later pronounced dead on Friday, July 15 at a rehabilitation facility. On Friday, Aug. 12, a Medical Examiner officially ruled the death of Camara a homicide.
